Very little is known about saint Christopher, but he probably lived during the third century. according to legend, he was a giant who decided to seek out the greatest king on earth and to serve him. after meeting a holy man who told him about Jesus, Christopher agreed to follow the man's advice and to serve Jesus by carrying people across a dangerous river. One day a small boy asked to be carried across the river--it was Jesus!Today, Saint Christopher is known as the patron saint of travelers.
